A couple of weeks ago I was at Discount Tire with my husband and Jacey. My husband decided it'd be cool to run into a ditch and mess our front tire up. ..Men.
Anyway, we're waiting forever to get our car fixed up. I expected this. There's never a time when Dicount Tire hasn't taken a million years to do what they gotta do. Can't blame them, really. They're busy people. (That's me giving the benefit of the doubt.)
I let Jacey down to go play. It's a small store so I can keep an eye on her where ever she goes. And by an eye, I mean watching her like a hawk. There's none of that casual glancing up stuff going on when you got yourself a toddler running around.
Especially when you have MY toddler. She likes to go make friends with everyone. This could mean going up and smiling at them to trying to get them to hold her. No one is gonna run off with my baby!
My child has no fear and none of that shyness stuff going on.
She sees a lady come in the door who has an unopened strawberry drink. The lady goes and sits down and Jacey goes over and stands in front of her. And starts staring at her drink. Of course. I nudge at my husband and say "Look...She's begging for that drink."
Then the lady looks over to me and asks "Do you have something I can pour this in?" I say "....Yeah. But you don't have to give it to her." And she replied with "No. It's ok. I want to." I hand over Jacey's cup and the lady pours the drink in.
Then my husband states, loudly and with wide eyes, "WE SHOULD TEACH HER TO DO THAT WITH MONEY!"

There are many advantages to being (or having) a cute child.
Exploit the kid while she is young....well maybe not.
Hmm, maybe hubby is a bit sensitive about how the tire was ruined. Don't let him see that you wrote about it.....
@PPhilip - He wouldn't care. =D
@happyworld_ofharibo - Hahah. So true.
Hilarious! =P
@pawnshop_heart - Hahah. Thanks. =D
lol
My oldest niece is the same way, and not just with people. I've seen her run to jump into the deep end of a pool without any floatation device, in spite of never having taken swimming lessons. She's also taken off running full speed through a busy parking lot. It makes us want to say, "You know, a little fear would be a good thing for you to have."
@randomneuralfirings - We took Jacey to the ocean and she kept trying to go all the way out. Even after a wave knocked her over and scared her, she still wanted to go all the way out. I guess she thought of it as a giant bathtub. lol.
@the_most_interesting_man - Teehee.
Well now I know how to get free strawberry drink. Thanks for the tips. Hee hee.
@Rob_of_the_Sky - Good luck! =)
ROFL!!!!! I think I know where she gets it from...your hubby sounds like a grown version of her & she has your cuteness!
@Made2sing4Jesus - Hahaha oh thank you. =D
Ha, that's something my hubby would say... :)
@TheMarriedFreshman - They're just men of opportunity. =)
hahaha I couldn't help but laugh. I can just imagine that in my head.
@meme_cutesykiss - Hahah. =D
lol That's so cute! And the money idea isn't bad, but maybe he shouldn't have told everyone that it's his plan!
@yourkbear - Hahaha. I know right? Now everyone will know!
@Fairywife - Exactly. But I bet it'll still work. Who can say no to a cute little girl?
you don't know what kind of germs that lady could be carrying. she could have had like alcohol or anything in it.
Hubby has the right idea! With a face like hers, who could resist?
@kkraziemoonn - lol. Wow. You missed the important word. "Unopened".
@AnamcharaConcepts - Haha aww. =)
